PlayStation: The Concert will bring music from popular Sony franchises to cities across the United States and Canada starting in October 2025 and running through April 2026. Pre-sale for tickets begins on June 18 at 7 AM PT / 10 AM ET.
"This is Coachella for game music," said PlayStation: The Concert composer Chad Cannon in a video preview of the event.
The interactive performance will feature four chapters that focus on the music from The Last of Us, God of War, Ghost of Tsushima, and Horizon: Zero Dawn. The concert will also feature music from Bloodborne, Uncharted, Astrobot, Helldivers 2, and Journey.
"Through breathtaking performances of gaming’s most celebrated music and state-of-the-art visual technology, each segment transforms your favorite games’ worlds into a fully immersive experience," reads the official PlayStation website. "PlayStation | The Concert is more than a show: it’s the ultimate celebration of gaming’s music, culture and innovation."
The tour will begin on October 9, 2025 at the Community Arts Center in Williamsport, Pennsylvania. It'll come to an end on April 13, 2026 in Montreal, Quebec. Fans looking to get a sneak peek can listen to parts of the featured soundtracks on Spotify ahead of the tour dates. More tour locations and dates could be announced in the future, according to PlayStation.
This concert is a collaboration between the studios behind these games, PlayStation, and award-winning arrangers and composers like Gustavo Santaolalla, Bear McCreary, Ilan Eshkeri, and Joris de Man. These artists are the award-winning minds behind the scores of movies like Brokeback Mountain and 47 Ronin.
The way to survive in modern society is to be an ascetic. It is to retreat from society. There’s too much society everywhere you go…The only solution is turn it off.
